Most of us usher in spring by a good spring spruce up of our homes. When we\u2019re not going to the parks, the spring festivals, and the rodeo, we\u2019re working on our homes. Our yards are getting a makeover.<\/p>\n

While you\u2019re outside giving your yard a facelift, why don\u2019t you take the time to inspect and maintain your outdoor security devices? A good home security checkup only takes a few minutes in your otherwise hectic day.<\/p>\n

  1. While you\u2019re planting all the new flowers, trim the bushes and lightly prune the trees around your home. Don\u2019t let your bushes grow any higher than your window sill and keep the tree branches pruned to no less than 6 feet above the ground. Overgrown bushes and trees provide great cover for would-be burglars.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    1. Our temperatures are really perfect \u2013 not too hot and not too cold. It\u2019s\u00a0ideal weather\u00a0for airing out the house.         1. Check all window and exterior doors. Make sure that locks and deadbolts are working perfectly.
